Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's been snowing and, thus, unride-able. I chose the London map, Box Hill 8 mile-ish loop. This map worked quite well. It doesn't test my patience for getting into the nit and gritty of the ride. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the foot of the Box Hill climb. I was sufficiently warmed up by the time I got there. I rode the climb out of the saddle almost for the duration of the climb. My intention was to do a negative split on the next lap. I kept that in mind, so I held back just a bit. After making the summit, I took a few moments rest and headed back to town. Putting in a good dig through the steep tunnel. I completed the lap and then headed back to the last time up Box Hill. This time, I got there faster. I put in a bigger effort on the climb. Putting in a PR. I think I got about 8th for the day. From the summit, I headed back to complete the lap. I was under 1 hour by the time I got there, so I kept riding till the one hour marker. After that, I cooled down for about 5 minutes. I was at the foot of the Box Hill climb for the third time, but I elected to turn around and finish the cooldown phase. I could have done another ascent, but I wanted to get an idea what an hour of intense training felt like. As per when I will have limited time when I start working. Concentration was good. Few lapses, no gremlins. Balance and form felt good. Ailments, some left calf soreness on the last 10 minutes of the ride. Gear worked great. Although I couldn't figure out how to let mom follow me. I spent 30 minutes trying to figure it out. I gave up in frustration. Other notes, there were over 2000 riders today, on this map.
