Today was the next ride for rehabbing my back and knee, and coincidentally the saddle soreness. The weather was perfect. I wore 1 base layer, arms and knees. I removed my knee warmers after reaching OTR and Route 202. I decided to go to the summit of Highline and turned back rom there. At this point my back and knee felt good, but I kept the tempo steady as a precaution. As I was making my way back, I decided to go up to the top of WTR and back. It turned out to be the perfect addition to the ride. My back felt good most of the way. A bit of soreness in the lower right. I backed off as soon as I felt it. From there, I cruised back home. I got back feeling pretty good. I'm wondering what my next ride will be. Not likely Keene. So that leaves another improvised ride, Willow Springs n Back, or Tour de Teh (SS,R). Concentration was good today. I was a little preoccupied with other stuff that was going on, but for the the most part I was in the zone. Balance was good, especially after having not doing any serious riding for the past week or two. Ailments were much better this time. Very little back pains or knee. Saddle sores have subsided but not 100% resolved. Gear is working well with the exception of the GPS not recording the entire ride metrics in the ".fit" file. Will need to keep an eye on that later. Other notes, my HR was higher today than normal. but I didn't feel more or less fatigued.
