Today was cloudy. Although it wasn't very cold. I wore 1 base layer, arms and knees and that's all I needed. I was a little cold in the first mile, but that subsided shortly after. Again, another rehab ride for all my ailments. My legs felt fresh and I didn't experience that much fatigue. However, I was taking it easy, so I have to take that into account. Concentration was ok, but shady in some spots. It took a conscious effort to stay in the zone. Given that I haven't been riding as many miles as normal, I think my concentration was fair better in the next few rides. Ailments... The lower back was the lesser, saddle soreness and right knee followed. I'm concerned about my knee as it has been consistently sore over the past few days. It isn't unbearable, but it's a sign that some adjustment is necessary. As for saddle soreness. I was sore for the first 15 to 20 minutes. I'm trying to remedy as best as possible. Balance was fairly good. This is what confuses me. Balance is good, yet my right knee pain persists. I'm thinking of using my SPD cleats and mountain bike shoes for the next ride. More on that later. Gear is working well, although the Live Track stopped after I was on my way back, near route 202. I used my tire squeegee and got it on video. Other notes, It started to sprinkle when I was making my way back from Highline. Fortunately, it didn't manifest to anything greater. Either that, or because I out-rode it. When I reached Weston, on the way back from Highline, I decided to add WTR summit just to put some extra miles in, as I did on the previous ride.
Other notes... The wind was from the north, and the temperature in the low 50's.
