I got up around 6 am today. Had breakfast and took my usual nap. I decided to ride out-doors, today. The weather was in the 40's and winds from the South East. Good conditions for Willow Springs n Back. The legs felt good from the start. I was good to go, by the time I reached the end of OTR. Outbound on Highline was more or less what I expected. It was full on headwind to the wind farms. At least the wind wasn't significant. I made it to the turn-around point and headed back. No stopping. The return trip was fun. I crossed paths with another cyclist. He was on his way out and looked to be on good form. I knew he was going to catch me, so I put in my mind, how much can I hold him off? I figured by Tucker, that he'd be on my heels. It was a close prediction. He passed me when I was about 400 or 500 yards from Tucker. I kept my momentum going, over the top and shut it down for a bit to recover. From there it was the quick downhill and slight dig up to Banducci. I pulled over, shortly after to swap out batteries on the GoPro. It was mostly fun and games through OTR and back. Concentration was good. Ailments, next to none. Balance and form felt good. Gear worked perfect today. Other notes, I wrote some new batch files to automate the video encoding procedure. Going to give it a whirl now.
