Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The temperature is great! In the mid 50's. Winds from the South East. Not ideal wind conditions for Keene n Back. I did good time to the top of the descent. About 8 minutes. The descent was fun, with the tailwind. I was doing over 30 MPH most of the time. I put in two digs over the risers. I was trying to build up some speed on the straighter sections, but it just didn't feel safe. I topped out at about 42 MPH. I reached the base and headed back. I didn't get a chance to check my time, at that point. I wasn't too concerned because I knew I was nowhere near my PB for this ride. Quite the opposite. The climb went as planned. It was a game of patience and steady tempo. No rid-lining. I had some things to think about, so that helped. I was ticking over the landmarks in slow motion. But at least I was in my comfort zone. Concentration was good. Balance and form was good. Ailments, next to none. Gear worked great. Other notes, no other cyclists today. There was a stopped train wrapped around the loop. It was there when I was descending. And, still there when I was on my way back up. I pulled over to take some photos when I was descending.
