Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's getting warmer. I got up a bit earlier so that I could ride well before noon. It's sunny. When I departed, it was about 70ish. When I got back, it was probably 80ish. Winds were somewhat turbulent. The legs felt pretty good to start. I made my way up OTR. I passed a group of cyclists, to my surprise. I guess they aren't worried about social distancing, at the moment. I made it to the summit in good time. I wasn't sure what to expect on Highline, with respect to the wind direction. At least the wind was calm. I had a slight headwind on the way out. The outbound leg was enjoyable, despite the wind conditions. I was able to practice removing and repositioning the water bottles on the Fidlocks. I'm getting better at it. When I reached WS, I turned around and headed back. The wind continued to be mild and slightly in my favor. I was mostly in the saddle and out, when I needed to stretch the legs. I made my way over the last kickers. Getting a forward stance on the bike, to get extra leverage. As I was making my way down HIghline, I noticed the front bottle mount was loose. This is the second time that happened. Not to the fault of the mount. It's the screw that just doesn't have enough reach. I ended up removing the inflation kit and stowing it in my extra case. Shortly after, I got back on the road. I made my way to Banducci and headed up the wall. Then the Alpine Forest. The legs were a bit fatigued, but I was able to hold a good tempo. The climb went quick. I made my way around the back end of the Alpine Forest. I was hoping to reach 40 MPH on the quick dip. I saw the numbers go up to 39.8-ish. I made my way to Banducci and made a left onto it. I stopped at the summit and took a few moments of rest. I checked the camera battery. (I forgot to mention, that when I was fixing the bike on Highline, I checked the GoPro Battery. It was down to 27%. So, I swapped out a fresh battery. It lasted the remainder of the ride). I let traffic by, and then headed back down the mountain. Descending the Banducci wall was a lot of fun. I got into my tuck, reaching over 42 MPH. From there it was mostly fun and games. Concentration was good. The morale was high. Definitely encouraging to see so many cyclists, today. Balance and form was good. Ailments, next to none, other than slight fatigue. Gear worked great, despite the bottle holder issue. The bike continues to make mystery clicks. I'm going to inspect the rear derailleur, next. nutrition was good. On the last half of the ride, I was going through my provisions much quicker than in the previous rides. Other notes, I saw a glider making it's way down to a smooth landing. There must have been 20 to 30 cyclists today. The most I've seen since the TGF.
