Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I had a Dr. appointment today, at 11AM. I had to wait a while. By the time it was over, it was about 1pm. I decided to hop on the trainer for an hour. Something's wrong with the gearing, while using the spare rear wheel. Will have to check it out. I chose the mountain loop on Watopia. It fit the bill perfectly. I was fumbling a bit at the beginning, to get the trainer configured with the riser blocks and such. Eventually, I got everything the way I wanted. I felt good today. As I was riding, before the climb started, I remembered to set my weight. It's at about 133 lbs, now. Zwift showed 128 lbs. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with the good climb. I was holding between 3 and 4.5 W/kg, most of the way up. The landmarks went quick. There were plenty of riders on this route. Made it a bit less lonely. I was out of the saddle most of the time. In to wipe sweat and hydrate. Because of the gearing mechanical, I could only use my first 10 gears. So, I couldn't get the derailleur to shift into the 11 tooth. I was able to adapt, either way. I kept the power down through the tunnel. Recovered on the short downhill and then to the finish. I did good time. Under 26 minutes. I placed 20th at that moment. I continued with the bonus climb. From there, it was back to the start / finish. I learned something about descents the other day. When you reach about 40 MPH, your better off stop pedaling and just let the game allow you to coast. I did it for the first time today. It puts you into a tuck position. After making it back down the mountain, I made my way through the villages. I tried to keep my momentum going. I wasn't able to put in a good dig through the sprint zone, given my 11 tooth issue. There was a cyclist about my equal. We stayed together till the finish line. It gave me some incentive. From there it, was mostly cool-down. Concentration was good. I was slightly in an urgent state, given that it's late in the day for a ride. Balance and form was good. Ailments, maybe some mild knee soreness. Gear worked well, other than the gearing issue. Nutrition was good. I drank about 1/4 of my Accelerade and water. Other notes, there were about 3000 riders today.
