Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's a bit on the warm side, now. I was hoping to get out earlier than I did. I ended up getting out around 10:15-sh AM. The legs felt heavy to start. I think it was partially due to the warm weather. I didn't bother checking the time, at the summit of the descent. I took it easy on the downhill. No sprinting over the two risers. Instead, I kept the momentum going as much as I could, out of the saddle. Probably reaching no more than 350 watts. I made my way down and headed back, as soon as I reached the base. The legs continued to feel a bit heavy. So, I took it easy for the first mile or two. Once I got warmed up and my climbing legs felt better, I was able to settle into a moderate tempo. I kept it like that for the entire ascent. The breathing was nice and calm. Listening to my music, in the meantime. I calculated the ETA to the summit, while climbing. I was about 1 or 2 minutes off my estimate. Concentration was good. I was able to remain patient and focused. Balance and form was good. I was more focused on this aspect, than pushing it. Ailments, some hand numbness. I had to switch hand positions and shake them every so often. Gear worked great. Nutrition was good. I drank about 2/3rds of my sport drink and some water. Other notes, no other cyclists today. There was a lot of railroad construction, near the base of the climb. I hope it was captured by the GoPro camera.
