Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I think the story of the day was the smoke in the air. It came back. Apparently, there's fires in the area. It smells of burning leaves, outside. Fortunately, it wasn't too severe. Taking this into consideration, I tried to keep my tempo out of the red. The legs felt pretty good to start. I made it to the end of OTR in good time. I think there was a bit of traffic mitigation on the Banducci wall. Otherwise, I paced myself steady. I was near max over the top, but not so much in the red. The remainder of the climb was mostly moderate tempo. I reached the summit in average time. I took a few moments rest and hydrated. I checked the GoPro battery. It was at 67%. So, over an hour's worth of charge remaining. The descent was a treat. Practicing my tuck and reaching over 40 MPH. The trek to SS was mostly moderate. The wind was starting to pick up, just a bit. So, I was fighting it, somewhat. I made my way around the backside. Close to max at the top. The descent was fun. Reaching over 40 MPH. I made it to the tunnel in about 1:01 hours and change. I zipped through town, and got back to Banducci. From there, it was mostly moderate tempo through the farmlands. I forgot to check my time at Boss Hogs. I probably gave up a minute or two. Just before the last climb, I pulled over to check the GoPro battery. It had enough charge remaining, to do the climb. I got back on the road and headed up the climb. Mostly moderate tempo, more in some places. I was in and out of the saddle quite a bit. I reached the summit, no red-lining. I swapped the GoPro battery and got back on the road. I made my way down Route 202, no traffic mitigation this time. From there it was down OTR and mostly fun and games, back home. Concentration was good. Few lapses. Balance and form was good. Ailments... I experienced some knee soreness in both legs. It wasn't significant, but noticeable. I was having adjust my position, in and out of the saddle. I'm going to adjust the cleats. I'm guessing it's a for-aft problem. I'm going to try moving my cleats closer to the balls of the feet. I had some numbness in the hands. Gear worked great. No issues. Nutrition was good. I brought an extra Gatorade bottle, fitted to the fork. I drank few gulps after having consumed the first bottle. Other notes... Looks like they are creating another greenhouse in the farm-lands. I think I may have gotten it on the camera. No other cyclists today.
