Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

There's quit a bit of smoke in the air. It got worse over the last few days. Nevertheless, I got out for my ride. I departed as soon as I could. About 9:30 AM-ish. The legs felt pretty good to start. I changed my cleats yesterday. So, it's going to take a few rides to dial it in. It faired ok, today. I made it to the end of OTR in good time. I made my way up the Banducci wall. Close to red-line over the top. The Alpine Forest went as planned. I kept my tempo steady, no heroics. I was near max, when I reached Lemans. I made my way through the back side. Having fun on the downhill. I pulled over at the summit and took a few moments rest. I checked the GoPro battery. I think it was around 58%. Shortly after, I let traffic by, and then headed downhill. There was some traffic mitigation on the way down the Banducci wall. I let the car go by, then got into my tuck. Doing over 40 MPH. From there I headed out to Highline. The wind was modest. I reached the turn-around and pulled over to check the GoPro battery. It was around 31%, or so. The return trip was quick. I was holding 18+ MPH for most of the way back, with the exception of the mile climb. When I reached OTR, I pulled over to swap out the GoPro battery. From there it was non-stop to home. Concentration was good. Few lapses. The morale felt good. Balance and form was good. But, I have to dial in the cleats. Gear worked flawless. One thing I learned about the Speedplay cleats is that if you tighten the bolts too much, the floating mechanism becomes difficult to clip in and rotate. Ailments consisted of some knee soreness. Although, it was less than the previous ride. I'm hoping that by adjusting the cleats, it will solve that problem. Nutrition was good. No hunger pains. I was able to finish the ride on a full Gatorade bottle and some water. I brought third bottle, but never used it. Other notes, I must have seen at least a dozen cyclists today.
