Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It was raining the past day, so I decided on an indoor training session. I chose the Watopia Mountain Loop. I'm at 133 lbs now. I was curious how that would affect my climbing ability. The first ten minutes were mostly warmup. I had to set fiddle with the trainer settings just before the climb started. The legs felt good to start. I kept it at about 3 W/kg till I reached the bridge. I stayed in the saddle till I reached the other side. From there, it was mostly out of the saddle climbing. In the saddle when the gradient let up, shake off the hands, or needing to drink. The climb went fast. It's been a while since I've ridden this route. The answer to my question was apparent. I was able to hold over 3 W/kg for most of the climb. So, the added weight didn't affect much. Most of the weight gain was productive weight. I definitely felt that I could put more power into the down-stroke while out of the saddle. So, by concentrating on the up-stroke, I was able to hold 4 W/kg in some parts of the climb. After reaching the last tunnel, I was able to sit up and recover for a few moments. There was another cyclist that was matching my tempo. I had feather power up, so I used it about a 1/4 mile from the summit. I crossed the summit in 19 place. There were over 4600 riders when I logged into this map. From there, I went up the bonus climb. I kept the tempo moderate until I reached the summit. At which point, I increased the tempo a bit. The next section was mostly downhill till I made it back to town. I put in a dig through the sprint zone. I think I got 130th place. I didn't PR when crossing the finish line, but it was definitely a fast lap. From there, it was cool down for some minutes. The legs felt good today. Concentration was good for the most part. I was a bit impatient while descending from the summit of the climb. Usually the case, because there's really no physical reward. Balance and form was good. Gear worked perfect. The rear derailleur cable detached before the climb. Turns out that the movement of the derailleur against the trainer caused the cable to pull out. I plugged it back in and didn't have a problem after that. Nutrition was good. I was getting mild hunger signs towards the end of the ride. Other notes, there were over 4600 riders in the start. I used the Nvidia screen recorder for this ride. I hope it shows up well.
