(recalling) Went for a late morning solo ride today. Weather was hot and humid. The way out was tolerable, being that I was going into headwind. I had pretty good legs today, so I decided to do good tempo on the ascent. Ailments, numbness in the right fingers. But this time, the numbness subsided as I was approaching the top. The heat was also a factor, especially in the open road just before the loop monument. To my surprise there was a group of people at the loop. They cheered me on. That was a treat! Bicycle, doing good, creaking still. I spent part of today removing the cranks and the bottom bracket. I found a piece of plastic on the non-drive side, lodged behind the crank threads. I took off the "Left Hand Adapter", and I found nothing unusual. So I cleaned and regreased the threads and reassembled everything. There was also a loose bolt on the chainrings. Luckily, I had the wrench that holds the rear in place while using an alen on the bolt. Will have to see how it goes on the next ride. Pretty much, te toughest part was figuring out which direction to turn the wrench to get the cranks and adapter off. GPS, working well, no problems there. As is the Gopro, working flawlessly. FYI, all the important tools are in the green toolbox, and dad's ratchet and socket. Oh, Concentration was ok, balance, pretty good. No heroics. Just good tempo.
