It's foggy out. Not very safe for an out door ride. Good day for an indoor session. I decided on Rouvy. I rode the Columbia Paejes CEC 2020 route. The right knee is much better now. I was able to put in as much as I could without much bother. I chose this map because it was around 20 miles and would take less than 1:30 hours. I was right on the money. The legs took a while to get warmed up. The route starts with rollers then a big downhill. The last half is mostly uphill. I added a few hundred bots. Most of them lesser in capability than my own. Suffice it to say, I beat all of them. After about half way, the legs started to feel better. I was in and out of the saddle. Mostly out of the saddle on the steeper slopes, in the saddle on the flats, downhill, or to wipe sweat and hydrate. The morale felt good, so the miles went quick. I was putting in around 3 W/kg on the uphill and 2 W/kg on the flats. Give or take. I think the gradient maxed out at around 18%. I was in my lowest gear pushing it. After reaching the finish I cooled down for about 4 minutes. Concentration was good. Balance and form felt good. Ailments, left hand numbness. I had to sit down and shake it off now and again. Nutrition was good. Gear worked flawless. No hunger signs. Other notes, other cyclists on this route today.
