It's in the 70's, mostly sunny, but heavy winds from the East. I wasn't sure what the wind conditions was going to do out there, so I played it by ear. I had a significant headwind going up OTR. I pulled over once to say hi to the local horses. They were very friendly and allowed me to pet them. I took some photos and videos. I'll wait till later to see how they came out. I made it to the summit in average time. At least the body was responding well. Going up the Banducci Wall was more of the same. I was in my lowest gear grinding it out. I didn't put myself into the red-zone. Then Arosa, the headwind persisted to the summit. It was mostly a game of patience for the first half of the ride. I'm glad I had my music to listen to. The backside of the Alpine Forest was a treat. Reaching 45 MPH on one of the descents. I made my way to the Banducci summit and took a few moments rest. I let traffic by and then headed down the mountain. The headwind wasn't too bad until I reached the plateau. Descending off the Banducci Wall was done with caution. I let it go at the lower part of the road. Once I made it back to OTR, it was mostly fun and games. I had a generous tailwind, so that was a treat. Concentration was good. A bit on the impatient side. Balance and form was good. I'm not sure if I want to raise the saddle, but it's about as low as it should be, imo. Gear worked perfect. Ailments were minimal, some mild hand soreness. Nutrition was good. No signs of hunger. I went through more than half of my Gatorade, no water. Other notes, I saw at least one cyclist on there. People seemed to be friendly today.
