Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

I have to make a quick entry because I have a dentist appt. in about 45 minutes. Today's weather was great! In the low 60's, winds from the north. I wore the standard kit. I lowered my saddle by about 1/4", today was the first time I rode with this change. It felt good, but need a few more rides to confirm its improvement. I felt good going out the door. I made it to Route 202 in average time. I did good tempo to the summit of HIghline and kept the tempo high to WS. From there, the return trip was in a direct headwind, so I put it into moderate tempo. When I reached Banducci, I started moderate and kicked it up to good and high over the top. The remainder was recovery followed by good tempo to the summit. From there, it was mostly fun and games to Mariposa with a dig. And then home. Concentration was good. No gremlins today. Ailments consisted of some right calf soreness. some sharp pains. Balance and form felt good, not great. Gear is working well. Other notes, I saw 2 other cyclists today.
