Today's weather cooled down significantly. In the low 80's, cool winds from the North West. I wore the standard kit. I got up today around 9:15AM. I was tired, groggy and my head felt heavy. It was like this for the first 30 to 40 minutes. I was with company (Peggy), so I had to make frequent stops. This just meant that I had to improvise to get in some hard efforts. The effort points were as follows: Highline summit going out, WS, the return trip on Highline, and Banducci. We were to regroup at the end of Highline. I waited a minute or two and decided to go back up just to pass time. We regrouped shortly after. From that point, we made our way back to OTR and had fun for the remainder of the ride. Concentration was not great at the start. I was struggling to get that heavy feeling out of my mind. This was to be mitigated by the effort of the ride. The last hour was better than the first. Ailments were next to none. Balance and Form felt good. I used the intermediate time to focus on my form. Gear is working well. I forgot to charge the Gopro camera, so I was having to select the moments I wanted to capture. Other notes, I saw 2 or 3 other cyclists today.
