Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Well, today's weather was warm, but not scorching. I got up early, around 7:30AM, ate breakfast, did some stuff, then took a nap. I was reluctant to get up, thinking about today's extended ride. I told myself to just get up and see what you can do when I get out there. About 10 minutes after getting up, my mind came around and I was set to do the double. The weather was in the 80's, winds from the North West. I wore the standard kit. I felt average going out the door. I made a good average time to the end of OTR and was sufficiently warmed up for the first part of the ride. I did good to high tempo over the Highline summit. Cruised the outbound leg, doing mostly moderate tempo with some increases here and there. The return trip was the usual moderate to good tempo, keeping the pace nice and steady, no sudden accelerations and out of the saddle where needed. When I reached the Banducci wall, I was already breathing hard from the last 300 yards of the kicker off of Highline. I put it into my smallest gear and let my body recover. Then increased the tempo when my body came around. I was doing good to high tempo for the duration of the wall. I recovered and stretched on the false flat and did mostly good tempo for the remainder of the climb. When I reached the summit, I took a minute break, refilled my main bottle with the extra bottle of cytomax. Then I commenced the downhill. Fun and games, reaching 41 MPH+. The trek to SS was mostly moderate tempo. After reaching SS, I slowed down to modest tempo or less and stretched to recover. I did moderate tempo over the rear climb. Cruised the downhill, doing my tuck thing. I pushed it through SS. The trip back on Banducci was mostly moderate. After reaching Pelliser, I was able to use more of the road as the traffic lessened. I did mostly moderate tempo with some short increase to good tempo. The last climb was no less than moderate, and majority good tempo. A moderate dig over the top. I was relieved to reach the false flat and was able to recover shortly after. From there it was onto Route 202, doing traffic mitigation. Onto OTR and back. Concentration was much better today. My mind was a bit squirly before the ride, so I think I was putting more emphasis on my concentration than anything. Minimal gremlins. Ailments consisted of right hand numbness. My neck is still sore, so I have to turn my head left very gentle. It is getting better though. Balance and form felt pretty good. Some places felt off, as if my saddle wasn't in the right position. It could have been the fatigue that set in just a bit. Gear is working great. No issues. Gorpo camera is working well. Other notes, I saw 2 other cyclists and a glider out near WS.
