Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I decided to make today a recovery ride. Being a single. The weather was warm, but not excessively. In the low 80's, winds from the North West. I wore the standard kit. I felt good going out the door. It took to the summit of the descent to get fully warmed up. I soft pedaled the descent. Out of the saddle on the risers. There was a guy about 1 minute behind me, so I had incentive. After reaching the base, I turned around. My legs felt lively. About 2 minutes into the ascent, the "follower" past me. So, I put another minute ahead of him. From that point, I concentrated on the ride at hand. I saved my matches for the steeper sections. A modest push over the Loop Monument. After that, my eyes were set on the second downhill riser. I made it there in good time. After that, it was mostly good tempo. No heroics, just nice and steady. I reached the summit with some gas left in the tank (as I had planned). After doing this ride, I thought my next double with Keene will start with Keene first. Kind of mix it up some. Concentration was spot on, very few lapses. Ailments consisted of some mild cramping in the lower left leg. Right hand numbness. The slight cramping never escalated. Perhaps a reaction to having a difficult ride in the very beginning as opposed to my other rides. Just a guess... Balance and form felt good. Gear is working great. There were 2 other cyclists today.
