Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today's weather was hot. In the mid to upper 80's. Winds from the north west. I wore the standard kit. I felt pretty good going out the door. I was warmed up in less time than usual. I reached the end of OTR in good time. I had to remind myself that today's ride was going to be a long one. Upon reaching Highline. I did moderate and some good tempo to the summit. My legs continued to respond well. I cruised it to WS. Turned around and started with moderate tempo. Mostly moderate, some good tempo. I saved my matches for the kickers over Highline. Then I recovered and set myself up for the Banducci climb. When I reached the wall, I kept my tempo nice and easy to let my body to recover from that short riser off of Highline. After a 100 yards or so, I was adjusted to the climb and was able to put a solid pace into it. The false flat was a recovery zone. I then climbed the remainder with moderate tempo, all the while negotiating traffic. When I reached the summit, I noticed my left hip was somewhat sore. I decided to take a couple minute break and refill my bottle. After that was the descent. Practicing my tuck and having fun. The trek through the farmlands was mostly moderate, constantly mitigating traffic. After reaching the first entrance, I took a 2 or 3 minute breather. Made my way up the rear climb (in moderate tempo). No pushes over the top. I made my way down, stopped at the golf park for a bio, but the door was locked, so I decided to continue. I made my way round SS, not so high tempo as normal. Going back on Banducci, I made a bio break on one of the porta potties. Then continued back to the last climb. I did mostly moderate tempo, some good tempo here and there. The last climb was mostly moderate and some increases here and there. A modest push over the top. I recovered on the next few hundred yards, and then settled into an easy tempo to the Route 202. Route 202 was traffic mitigation onto OTR. From there it was fun and games. Doing a moderate push over Mariposa and then back home. Concentration was very good. Some lapses, but negligible. Ailments consisted of some minor right hand numbness, some left hip soreness, minor right knee soreness, some mild lower back soreness. The left hip soreness was mitigated by stopping for a couple minutes. Everything else was stretching and shaking. Balance and form felt good. Gear is working well. The camera worked flawless. Other notes, Our neighbor had a drone copter that followed me from a couple hundred feet in the air. I'll copy the footage onto my personal cycling videos of the day. I saw one or two cyclists today.
