Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

I was a bit undecided what to do today. I ended up making it a recovery / transition ride. I plan on doing a good climbing day on the next ride. The legs felt good to start. The weather is warm with clouds. So, I was in cloud cover part of the time. Winds from the South East. I had to do an important errand in the morning, so this ride was perfect for this time of the day. I made it to the summit of OTR in good time. I did good tempo on the 1 mile climb up Highline. I was near max at the summit. I made the quick round-about through the buffalo run region. After making it back to Highline, I had a bit of fun on the descent with a tailwind. Turning over my biggest gears. After making it back to OTR, I was able to relax on the descent. I pushed moderately over Mariposa. Shutting it down when I reached the summit of Weston. Concentration was good. Minimal lapses, the morale felt good. Gear worked flawless. Balance and form was good. Nutrition was good. I had a couple waffles with a bit of honey and a Clif Bar before the ride. It staved off the hunger. I drank about half my Gatorade, no water. Ailments were minimal. My left knee was a bit tender to start. I told myself that it would get better. And it did. Went back to normal in about 15 to 20 minutes. Other notes, I saw mom as I was making my left turn back onto WTR.
