Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today was a cool day. In the upper 50's, lower 60's. Winds from the North West. I wore the standard kit, w/ arm and leg warmers, 1 base layer. I was comfortable. Somewhat cold on the downhill, but nowhere near unbearable. I forgot to start my GPS till about 2 or 3 minutes into the ride. Thus the quicker overall time. I felt good from the beginning. I think it was the cool air. I made it to the top of the descent in good time. The downhill was soft-pedaling and out of the saddle where needed. Once at the base, I turned around with no delay. My body felt lively for the duration of the ride. I had in mind the milestones/landmarks where i wanted to put my cookies into. I think I got it right on the money. I was on top of my gears. Concentration was good, although, I could feel my mind drifting in some places. Nothing I couldn't reel in though. No gremlins. Balance and form felt good. Ailments consisted of right hand numbness. Gear is working well. Other notes, I saw 1 other cyclist as I was ascending.
