Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather has finally let up. I was going to ride indoors, but the snow has melted from the road (for the most part). I had my sights set on the Buffalo Run, but decided to go to the Alpine Forest. The rationale was to put in a moderate climbing ride, but proceed with caution. I told myself that if the road has ice, then I would just head back and not risk it. I got everything right, except I should have brought long finger gloves and toe covers. The legs felt good to start. I didn't bother checking the time to the top of OTR. The metrics shows that I did good average time. Going up the Banducci Wall had a bit of traffic mitigation. So, I was on high alert. After making it to Arosa, I was able to relax and get on with business. The miles went sufficiently quick. The road was mostly dry and safe. There was some run off water, mostly on OTR. I was having to tread lightly through the puddles. (The bike is due for a good cleaning). I was near max going over the top of Arosa. I zipped through the backside. The road was safe, so I went to the summit of Banducci. I took a few moments rest and then headed back down the mountain after letting traffic by. The descent was cautious. I let traffic by. Descending off the Banducci Wall was safe, with minimal wind conditions. After making it to OTR, I was able to relax. The fingers and toes were getting cold, so I was in a bit of discomfort. I pushed over Mariposa and then shut it down when I made it back to the top of Weston. Concentration was good. Perhaps a hint of impatience. Balance and form was good. Ailments, my right sit bone muscle is sore again, but only slightly. I had some moderate right knee pain that subsided. A bit of right calf tenderness that subsided too. Nutrition was good. I was having to swig and spit before swallowing to get the contaminants off the bottle. Gear worked flawless. Other notes, I saw one cyclist today. The bike is now due for a deep cleaning.
