Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I bruised my right knee the other day. It's still sore, so I had to take it easy today. I decided to choose a map that would take less than an hour to complete with some climbing. The Zwift Sand And Sequoias in Watopia seemed to fit the bill. It's a 15.4 mi circuit with about 540-ish feet of elevation gain. I kept the tempo modest. Mostly in the saddle high cadence. Not much else to tell. I did some out of the saddle efforts on the climbing segments. The right knee was sore, so I wasn't able to put full force. After I completed the first lap, I shut it down and did the cool down for about 5 minutes or so. Concentration was good. A hint of impatience, but not too detracting. Balance and form was ok. Considering the sore knee was throwing me off balance on one leg. Gear worked perfect with the exception of the HR sensor. For some reason, Zwift didn't pick it up. The Garmin GPS picked it up. Not sure what happened. Ailments, mostly the right knee and perhaps a bit of the inner glut. The glut is doing better. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs. I drank less than half my sport drink. Other notes, I think there were about 11,000 riders on the Watopia map when I hopped on.
