Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather has let up a bit. There were some wild fires on the other side of the southern mountains. The air quality was not the best (ash was falling over night), but not dangerous. Good enough to complete a ride. I decided to get out right after breakfast, skipping my morning nap. The legs felt pretty good to start. The temperature was in the 70's. Winds from the North West. I made it to the top of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had modest traffic. I was near max going over the top. I kept my tempo going to the summit. After reaching the summit, I pulled over to recover. I let traffic by and then headed down the mountain. It was mostly safe. The wind was calm on my way to SS. I did good time. I made my way around the backside and then into town. I put in a sprint on the downhill. There wasn't much of a tailwind, so I couldn't get up to speed like usual. About 35 MPH before tucking. I stopped at the local park to bio. From there, I got back on the road and made my way into town. I passed the tunnel in about 1:02 hours time. I stopped at the local mini-mart to mix a sport drink. Shortly after, I got back on the road and made my way back through the farmlands. It went quick. The legs felt good. I made it to Boss Hogs in about 1:26 hours time. So, I gave up about 4 minutes on the return. The last climb went well. I stopped once to swap out the GoPro battery. I kept a descent tempo going. I pushed over the summit. After reaching the summit, I had time to recover and then made my way back home. Route 202 had no traffic mitigation. The descent off OTR was mostly fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa and shut it down at the top of Weston.
Concentration was good. I had patience today. Balance and form felt good. Ailments were minimal. Some hand soreness. Perhaps a hint of right inner quad soreness. None of which detracted from the ride. Nutrition was good. I drank about 2 bottles of sport drink, no water. Other notes, I saw 2 cyclists (if I remember correctly) today.
