Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I got up early but didn’t get out till around 9:15-ish or even later. Either way, I got out before the afternoon heat. The legs felt pretty good to start. I did good time to the top of OTR. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation. But the worst of it was the remainder to the summit. After reaching the summit, I took a few moments to recover. I let traffic by and headed down the mountain. I reached 42MPH on the downhill in my tuck. After reaching the base, I made my way through the farmlands and to SS. I was doing good time. Mostly above 18 MPH to the entrance. I relaxed a bit and then made my way around the backside. I put in a good sprint in the downhill. Reaching over 42 MPH in the tuck. I stopped at the local park to take a quick bio. They didn’t have running water, so I had to use my water bottle to rinse my hands. From there, I headed into town. I reached the Tunnel in about 1:02 hours or so. So, I was on good time till this point. I stopped at the local mini-mart to mix a bottle of powder drink and then got back on the road. The trek through the farmlands was mostly moderate tempo and dealing with the rough tarmac. I made it to Boss Hogs in about 1:22-ish hours. Perhaps more, but I lost only 1 or 2 minutes on the return. I was still on good time. My right inner quad was getting sore. It felt like a pinched nerve on the inside of the leg. I let up and allowed my legs to recover. That seemed to do the trick. I stopped once at the base of the last climb to swap out the GoPro battery. The climb went quick. I was alternating between moderate and slightly higher tempo. I was getting the same pains on the last few minutes of the climb. Letting up, stretching and increasing the cadence helped. I kept the tempo going over the top. From this point, I had no more quad pains. I made my way to Route 202. It had traffic mitigation. I rode to the driveway a couple hundred yards down the road. I let traffic by and then headed down to OTR. I had to negotiate before making the left hander. Descending off OTR was mostly fun and games. I was on good time, so I had incentive. I pushed over Mariposa and kept a good tempo going. I pushed to the top of Weston where I shut it down. I made it back home in under 1:56 hours. Really good time!
Concentration was good. My patience was mostly in check. The morale felt good, even with the ailment in the last part of the ride. Balance and form was good. Ailments, the right inner quad nerve pinching-like pain. Allowing it to subside by letting up, stretching carefully and increasing my cadence did the trick. Nutrition was good. I drank two bottles of sport drink, and some water. Gear worked flawlessly. Other notes, I saw 5 or 6 cyclists today and some runners.
