Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

They predicted hot weather today, so I got out early. I skipped my morning nap. It is supposed to get up to 90 degrees. I was around 70 when I got out. Winds from the North West. I wore the standard summer kit. The legs felt pretty good to start. On my way up OTR, I could sense the heat in the air causing it to be less dense. Less dense equals less Oxygen equals more fatigue sensation. Nevertheless, I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation. I kept my eyes and ears alert for cars. I was near max going over the top. I recovered on the flats and then made my way up the remainder of Banducci. After making it to the summit, I pulled over to recover and let traffic by. Shortly after, I headed down the mountain. It was safe with no traffic from behind until I reached the base. The trek to SS was quick. It felt like I had a slight tailwind, but likely a lack of wind altogether. After reaching the front entrance to SS, I took a few moments to recover and stretch while on the bike. Then I made my way around the backside. I put in a good sprint on the downhill. My max speed wasn't that high. I think there was a lack of tailwind at that time. I stopped at the local park to take a quick bio and then got back on the road. I made it past the tunnel in about 1:02 hours. So, pretty good time. I stopped at the local mini mart to mix my sport drink with the extra bottle I had in my saddle bag. I then got back on the road. The trek through the farmlands was mostly steady tempo. Being that the road was chewed up, I was having so swerve around the bumps all the while keeping an eye out for traffic. I made it to Boss Hogs in about 1:26 hours. So, I gave up about 4 minutes. (I had a mild tailwind up to this point). The last climb went as planned. I was doing in and out of the saddle efforts to keep the tempo going. I kept the power down going over the top. As planned, I stopped at the summit to feed a Clif Bar. After that, I got back on the road. Route 202 had traffic mitigation. I had to let traffic through just as I was going to make the left turn onto OTR. I made it there safely. The descent off OTR was enjoyable. I was able to relax a bit and have fun. I pushed over Mariposa and then the dig to the top of Weston where I shut it down.
Concentration was good. I was a bit impatient to start. I had to let the body warm up and acclimate to the slightly warmer and less dense air. Balance and form was good. The shoes, cleat position, saddle height and for-aft feels good. Ailments were minimal. Some hand numbness as usual (while digging out of the saddle). Nutrition was good. I fed a banana and grapes before the ride. I didn't take the usual morning nap, so the nutrition held me over without having to feed much before departing. I fed one Clif Bar with water and about one and a half bottles of sport drink for the duration of the ride. Gear worked flawlessly. Other notes, I saw three cyclists on their way down CVR as I was making my way to Route 202.
Other notes, I noticed that the power metrics appear more than usual. I think it represents better readings than normal and not so much due to improvement on my end. (I could be wrong).
