Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. A miserable day to get out. Perfect day to train in-doors. I did the London loop. I think I chose the wrong map. I wanted to do the Box Hill climb twice, but this route was too big in distance. Nevertheless, I got a good workout in. I was putting in 100 watts from the start. It took a while before the body was fully warmed up. Sufficiently, by the time I reached Box Hill. Prior to that, I was putting in short efforts. Interval-like efforts. I climbed Box Hill almost entirely out of the saddle. I was doing 3.8+ Watts/Kg for most of the ascent. From there, it was recover and ride the remaining hour. The tunnel kicker was fun. Putting in more than 9 watts/kg, peak. I was aiming for, between, 29-20 miles for the hour. I think I just breached 20 when 1 hour was up. From there it was cool-down. I cooled down for 5 minutes, then soft pedaled, till my HR dropped to 112 BPM. Concentration was good. Few lapses. The workout went fast, perceptual-wise. Much faster than the previous indoor ride. Balance and form felt good. I was on top of the pedals and felt reasonably symmetrical. Ailments, next to none, some quad soreness, near the knees from time to time. Depending on the effort. Gear worked flawless. No issues, fast setup. Other notes, I think there were around 2k riders today.
