Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I put in another double today, as I planned. I was hoping to get out earlier. I waited for the weather to cool off and it did. In the 70's and cool winds from the North West. The legs felt good from the start. I was sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached the end of OTR, in good time. I was trying to hold back just a bit for the latter half of the ride. The Banducci wall went as usual. Out of the saddle most of the time, some traffic mitigation. I recovered on the false flat and then headed to the summit. Mostly out of the saddle. Not red-lining too much, and traffic mitigation. I took a few moments rest at the summit. I was probably there for no more than a minute. I headed downhill, practicing my tuck. I reached about 42MPH near the base. I made my way through the farmlands. Doing mostly 16 MPH or so. The legs were feeling good. Perhaps a hint of soreness in the left calf. But it never escalated. I made my way up the back entrance of SS. Again, keeping the tempo steady. No red-lining. The downhill was enjoyable. Doing my tuck. I reached the tunnel in about 1:02 hrs. Good for this type of ride. I made my way through SS and then headed back out on the farmlands. I kept the tempo steady. Stretching now and again. I saved a bit for the CVR climb. I reached Boss Hogs in about 1:13-ish hours. I approached the last climb with a bit of holding back on the tempo. I was out of the saddle frequently. Keeping the legs from getting to fatigued. No digs over the summit. I pulled over when I reached the summit to adjust the GoPro battery. I made my way through the false flat. Practicing riding no handed. Route 202 was mostly traffic mitigation. I was able to relax on the OTR descent. I called home when I reached teh summit of Mariposa. I met up with mom at the mailboxes and swapped out provisions. I was there for about 1 or 2 minutes. I headed up WTR. When I reached the summit, I pulled over to eat one of the Power Bars that I had. I brought a second one when I made the mailbox pit-stop. I ate most of it. And then headed downhill. I decided to eat the rest as I just started the descent. I put in some digs over the risers. The legs were understandably fatigued. But the digs went well, otherwise. I reached the base and turned around. No stopping. The first half mile was the usual wait till the climbing legs settle in. Then I was able to settle into a tempo. Doing the usual landmark checks. The legs felt good. I was fatigued, but still able to hold a good tempo. After reaching the Loop Monument, the legs continued to feel good. A slight push over that landmark. I stretched on the dip. Made my way to the second dip and hydrated, stretched. From there it was the continuation of steady tempo. I kept my mind focused. When I felt it drifting, I concentrated on some things that I had to get done, and the lighter side of things. I was fatigued, but it wasn't a sign of bonking. I made it to the summit. From there, I was able to recover, reflect and head back home. Concentration was good for the most part. I was a bit discouraged that I got out about 1 hour later than anticipated. But, I put in my mind, that the goal was one in the same. There were some dark patches out there, as anticipated, but nothing too detracting. Ailments, some left calf soreness when I was around SS. Never escalated. Some hand soreness. Right knee was sore for a few moments. Again nothing to detracting, requiring a stop. Balance and form was good. Free-handed riding is doing better. Gear worked flawless. I mounted the extra battery bank on the top tube. I need to secure it better, the next time. Suffice it to say, the GoPro battery was fully charged the entire ride. No outages. Mystery clicks are gone. Other notes, I saw 3 cyclists today.
