It's a bit warmer, but not by much. In the low 80's, scattered clouds and winds from the North West. I want to do a double soon. Perhaps in the next 2 or 3 rides. I decided to go up the Alpine Forest and then through CV. The legs felt good from the start. I was good to go by the time I reached the end of OTR. I pushing it a bit, over the Banducci Wall. I made my way up Arosa. The legs were responsive. I was holding a good tempo and a push over the summit. I was at max at that point. I made my way around the Alpine Forest. I reached the summit of Banducci and took a few moments rest. I was tempted to go to SS, but decided to leave some room for the next double. I made my way down the mountain. Practicing my tuck. I reached the base and made the trek through the farmlands. No road construction, so I was going non-stop. I was trying to calculate my time to Boss Hogs. I estimated I'd get there between 1:10 and 1:15 hours. I was so concentrated that I forgot to check the GPS when I passed the landmark. I realized it after I was near the end of the road. So, I estimate I reached the landmark in about 1:12 hrs. The last climb felt good. No heroics. Just steady tempo and maintaining my momentum over the top. The false flat was mostly recovery and I was able to practice no handed riding. From there it was traffic mitigation on Route 202. I had to pull over on OTR to swap out the GoPro battery. From there it was non-stop to home. Concentration was good. Few lapses. Ailments consisted of right hand numbness. I had to shake it off from time to time. My right shoulder is still a bit sore. Balance and form felt good. No handed riding is getting better. Gear worked flawless. The bike is riding nice and silent. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
