Well, today's ride was a mixed bowl of sorts. The weather was nice and cool. I wore 1 base layer, arms and knees. I was a bit cold in the beginning, but got much warmer as the ride progressed. The wind was from the north. I felt good from the beginning. My right knee was sore before the ride started, but fortunately it didn't bother me on the ride. I decided to do the Tour de Teh (R) route to play it safe. It turns out that it was a good call because the wind reversed when I got to CVR. All in all, my body responded well. Concentration was in and out. Average at best. There were some gremlins out there. It was difficult for me to keep it together at times and I was really having to coach myself through the miles. Ailments consisted of mild soreness in the right knee, some hip pains, I think that's pretty much it. Balance was good. I'm really liking the top middle bar position. It feels comfortable and natural. I can stay on the tops while forward or on the back of the saddle. Gear is working well. No complaints there. Although there were some mild mystery clicks. Other notes, I saw some deer at the summit of Banducci. They ran away before I could stop and take some photos. Perhaps the gopro caught them on one of the photographs.
