Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather is starting to warm up. It was in the mid 80's today, winds from the north west. I felt good going out the door. It didn't take me long to get warmed up. I did average time to Route 202. I was able to climb Banducci wall starting with moderate, good, then a push over the top. I recovered on the flat section and did more or less moderate to good tempo to the summit. All the while going into a headwind. Add that to the heat, and it was a recipe for pain. I took a 1 minute break at the summit. Checked the traffic, then hit the descent. I had fun practicing my tuck position reaching over 41MPH. From that point, it was steady tempo to SS. No real digs going over the summit of SS, but just keeping the pace nice, steady, and maintaining my momentum, standing where needed. I reached the tunnel at around 1:02ish. I was able to blast through the town. As usual, fun stuff. The return leg on Banducci was mostly moderate, mitigating traffic all the while. Pelliser was mostly good tempo and more so till Boss Hogs. I made it there around 1:23ish. The heat continued to prevail. I wasn't able to hold high tempo, I had no intention either. I ended up doing moderate and putting my cookies where they were needing the most. No digs over the summit. The next flat section was recover time. When I reached route 202, I stopped to let traffic go and then commenced the downhill. I had to mitigate the traffic from behind. I ended up speeding up to 35MPH+ to get into position for the left hander. From there it was fun and games. I made a push over Mariposa and headed home from there. Concentration was spot on. Ailments consisted of some mild lower back soreness, and some upper quad soreness (likely due to the heat). My left thumb is healing and I was able to ride without the bandage. Balance and form felt good, not perfect. Gear is working well, no issues. I still need to find out how to get the GPS to display the running time and not the overall, perhaps a call to Garmin. They are making, what appears to be a bike lane at the bottom of Banducci. No telling how far they are going to extend it, but I think they might have it done by next month. No cyclists today.
Other notes, my weight is about 145.5 lbs.
