The weather has cooled off. It was a bit chilly for the first 5 minutes. Winds are somewhat turbulent, but very mild. I made it to the summit of Keene in good time, under 8 minutes. I cruised the downhill and put in two digs on the risers. After reaching the base, I headed back without delay. I don't think I checked the time when I got there, but likely good time. The legs felt lively today. The miles went fast. The only thing inhibiting me was my own patience. So, I was having to coach myself as I went along. The landmarks went quick. I kept the tempo high going over the top. I was near maximum. After reaching the summit, I took a few moments to recover then headed down to Country Club where I did an OTR out and back ride. I reached the summit in good time. I calculated that I got there in about 22 to 23 minutes equivalent. From there, I headed back down OTR, mostly fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa and then up to Weston where I shut it down at the top. Concentration was good. The morale felt pretty good. I got out around 8AM, so I went into it knowing I would have plenty of time for the remainder of the day. Ailments were minimal. Some hand numbness mitigated by shaking them while in the saddle. Gear worked flawless. Nutrition was good. No hunger sings. I went through most of my sport drink and some water. Balance and form was good. I'm rekindling my pedaling technique. Alternating between left, center and right leg efforts. This gives the legs a more time to recover while retaining power output. Other notes, no cyclists today. No visitors at the Loop Monument.
