Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Miserable outside. Perfect for an indoor session! The map of the day was Innsbruck. It was map that I wanted to do. I wanted to do the mountain lap (for lack of better description). It's an ~8 mile loop that goes around the mountain. I wanted to do at least one and a half laps. When the ride started. It put me in the middle of town. So, I restarted the app. But after selecting the right map, it put me in town, again. I decided to continue, nevertheless. I figured, I can always use the keyboard to change routes, later. I made my way through town, and about 7 minutes later, I got to the climb. I started modest. Putting around 2 to 3 watts/kg. I did this for a few minutes, then picked up the pace. To about 3.5 Watts/kg. I kept this pace (more or less), for the remainder of the climb. I was passing many people. I was keeping an eye on the time and position on the overhead map. But I tried to keep the numbers from getting to my concentration. Better to go by feel than to count of the seconds. I was out of the saddle most of the time. I waited for the gradient to lessen in order to sit down and wipe of the sweat. I posted a good time. Not a PR, but a solid ride for me. From here, I wasn't sure what was going to happen. So, descended the mountain and got the intersection that goes into town, or back up the mountain. Turns out that Zwift continued on the loop, as I selected in the start of the ride. I put in my mind that I wanted to do at least half the climb, for a second time. I was concentrating on time. While I was climbing, I noticed that if I did the entire climb, it would be just over one hour of riding time. So, I decided to do the entire climb again. Same approach. Mostly out of the saddle. Sitting on the easier slopes to wipe off sweat. I was contemplating negative splitting, but decided against it. I think I was only one minute off my previous lap time. From the summit, I headed downhill and back to town. I let the milage reach 20 before completing the cool-down phase. Concentration was good. No lapses to mention. Balance and form felt good. Ailments. None, perhaps slight quad soreness. Gear worked flawless. Other notes, there were over 2000 riders on this map, today.
