Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It was raining in the morning, but stopped by afternoon. I didn't feel like going out for a ride, so I decided to ride Watopia instead. I chose the mountain route. The set up went faster this time. The trainer acquired the signal much better. Once I hopped on the trainer, I didn't have to make any adjustments like in the previous rides. The climb went well. A PR in fact. I was sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached the start of the climb. I put just a bit more wattage going over the bridge. After that, was mostly out of the saddle, grinding. I tried to keep my mind occupied instead of counting down the minutes or miles. Mostly keeping an eye on the landmarks. The tempo was high. I was frequently in the 4 Watts/Kg. But there were other times that I was under 3 for a few moments. I kept reminding myself that when I reach the tunnel, and get out the other side, that I would have just 5 or 6 minutes remaining. I approached the finish differently. I think my average wattage was higher by the time I was a few minutes to the summit. So, I kept the wattage in the 4+ watts/kg range. And then pushing over 5 in the last few dozen seconds. I was near my limit at that point. I htink I got top 20. The Game Bar stopped recording somewhere at this point. I'm not sure why. I had to wait till I got over the summit to restart it. After that, it had no problems. I made my way back to town. All the while doing the numbers. Figuring where I would be in a given period of time. Calculating the minutes per mile. I put in a moderate dig through the sprint zone. I think I got 30 something with a PR. I made it back to the start/finish in just over 1:01 hours. I began the cool-down phase after that. Waiting for the distance to reach 20ish miles. After that, it was easy pedaling till I reached 112 BPM. Concentration was very good today. Balance and form felt good. I had to resit the shim on the trainer. I think it worked, I wasn't leaning to the left. Ailments, some slight soreness in the left calf area on the last 10 minutes of the ride. Never escalated. Gear worked great, although the Game Bar stopped recording once. Other notes, there were about 1600 riders today, on this map.
