Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today was the first double. I specifically chose this day because the weather prediction was in the 70's. Perfect riding weather. The legs felt fresh from the start. I was sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached the end of OTR. I kept the tempo steady to the summit. Keeping in my mind that I needed a good warmup period, but no red-lining. I think Banducci went better than I anticipated. I was near max over the wall. I recovered on the false flat and then kept moderate to better tempo to the summit. After reaching the summit, I took a few moments rest and hydrated. At this point, the morale felt good. The next major climb was Keene, so I had time for a fast interim. I was keeping track of time when I reached Boss Hogs. I think I made it there in about one hour plus or minus 1 or 2 minutes. The CVR climb felt good. I kept a tempo that I could sustain till I reached the summit. No red-lining. After the summit, I took a few moments to recover, while riding. I practiced no handed riding. I think I'm getting better at that. From there it was up to Route 202, traffic mitigation and the fun and games through OTR. I met up with mom at the mail boxes and swapped out bottles and took on some fluids. I was there about 2 minutes, no more. I headed to the summit of WTR. Always slave work getting there. The wind was significant and I was going right into it at this point. After reaching the summit, I had a sufficient time to recoup. No need to pull over, yet. I was keeping an eye on my appetite. My body exhibited no desire to feed. I was continually drinking Accelerade. It turned out to be sufficient. On the descent, I pulled over two times to take photos. Otherwise, it was non-stop to the base. I put in two digs on the risers. There was some road construction nearing the base, so that negated my bio break contingency as the workers were near the bio point. After reaching the summit, I felt no need to bio, so I was good to go. I had over 30 miles into the legs at this opint. So, they were sufficiently warmed up. It didn't take much time for the climbing legs to settle in. I did the usual landmark count. The miles went quick. I kept my mind occupied. The morale felt good. After passing the Loop Monument, I was free of the red-line zones. I was keeping a close eye on my ailments. It was mostly right hand numbness. No signs of cramping. I kept my tempo steady and no red-lining. I was out of the saddle frequently. After reaching the summit, the ride was essentially over. The descent gave me some time to practice riding in the hooks. The remainder was fun and games. Concentration was great. No lapses. The morale felt good. Balance and form was good. No handed riding felt more natural. Ailments, right hand numbness. Gear worked flawless. The bike is finally silent (for the most part). I serviced the headset yesterday and swapped out the rear skewer for the one that I normally use with the Elite trainer. No clue which one did the trick. My next trouble-shooting step is to put back the Dura-Ace skewer on the next ride. Other notes, I saw two cyclists today descending as I was making my way back up Keene.
