Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's a bit foggy out. I didn't feel like riding out doors. So, I chose Watopia instead. The mountain (hilly) loop was a perfect choice. I was feeling a bit average, so I decided to step into the tempo instead of stomping from the beginning. I was sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached the bottom of the climb. I started by staying out of the saddle till I reached the bridge. From there, I sat down. Going from 3 W/kg to about 2-ish. When I reached the end of the bridge I picked up the tempo slightly. I tried to keep the wattage around 3 W/kg. That seemed to be the comfort zone while not slacking off. I was able to raise the tempo as the climb progressed. I was keeping track of time, wattage and my HR. The HR was in the sweet-zone. Below 160, above 145. I sat down to recoup and wipe sweat. I was a bit surprised at my time when I reached the end of the last tunnel. I was on a 30 day PR. I didn't go ape, but I kept the tempo going. I finished around 40 something, I think out of over 100 riders. Nothing spectacular, but I did post a PR. The bonus climb was tough. The trainer simulates the steeper slopes more accurately than the old Elite trainer. I was in my lowest gear and having a tough time. It wasn't like this with the Elite trainer. After making it to the summit, I headed back down the mountain. So, the majority of the workout was complete. I was a bit impatient to get back to the start/finish. I did some stretching on the downhill and tried to keep the tempo going on the rolling terrain. I put in a dig through the sprint zone. I think I got 30-something. From there, I made it to the finish. I cooled down till the HR reached about 112. Concentration was good. The music helped. Balance and form was good. Ailments, hand soreness. Right hand numbness that required shaking for a few moments. The knees felt good. I had slight outer quad soreness towards the tendon on the lower side. It didn't escalate, but it was noticeable. Gear worked perfect. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs. I had about half my Gatorade and no water. Other notes, there were close to 10,000 riders at the start.
