A hilly ride out to Mineral Point, West of New Glarus. Lunch (pasties of course) at the Red Rooster Cafe at the 33 mile mark. Return trip is through the rustic area just South of Yellowstone Lake, with a water stop in Argyle at 56 miles before returning to New Glarus. This is a long ride, but all on good highways. It includes several challenging climbs and long sections of ridge riding with spectacular panoramic views of the Wisconsin countryside and Driftless Region. (less)

There are a number of steep hills and several short sections of gravel (shown in Green). A lot of climbing, good for e-bikes and fit riders. Goes through lovely forests and coastal scenery. Recommended as three days: Day 1 Hobart to Cygnet; Day 2 Cygnet to Woodbridge or Kettering (where you can jump off to visit Bruny Island); Day 3 Kettering to Hobart. A nice one day ride could be created by turning around at Pelverata, or simply continuing from Sandfly through to Margate. (less)

There is also potential for a seasonal stop at the Pisgah Inn. Major trails include Laurel Mountain and Big Creek. Please dismount and walk your bike during the Blue Segment near the parkway. Primitive campsites off the trail are free and most have a fire ring/pit.
